What Our Patients Say

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely! We take our patients’ health and safety very seriously. During your first visit we’ll perform a comprehensive exam in order to best address any issues you are having. We’ll then develop a treatment plan tailored to you specifically so that we’re only providing the treatment you need in a safe and productive way.

Chiropractic care aims to improve your health by adjusting and aligning the spine and other joints. This can help alleviate pain, improve mobility, enhance posture, and reduce muscle tension. Our goal is to address the root causes of various conditions, offering a non-invasive approach to pain relief and improved well-being.

Definitely not! Chiropractic adjustments should not be painful. You may experience some soreness after your adjustment which will usually subside quickly. We encourage you to voice any concerns you may have about pain and discomfort with your doctor. We’re here to help you feel your best and part of that is feeling confident that the treatment will be as gentle and comfortable as possible.

How quickly you will see results will vary depending on several factors, including the nature and severity of your condition, your overall health, and how consistently you follow the treatment plan. Some individuals may experience immediate relief, while others may require multiple sessions to achieve their desired outcome. As part of your exam review we will try to set realistic expectations and provide guidance on the expected timeline for improvement based on your specific circumstances.

We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. Loose-fitting attire such as a t-shirt and athletic pants or leggings if always a good choice.

Our primary goal is to help you fix the issue(s) you came in with in the shortest amount of time possible. We have a number of techniques we can use to accomplish this and we strive to alway be learning more. Some examples of techniques we use:

  • Clinical Biomechanics of Posture (CBP): CBP is a chiropractic technique that focuses on correcting spinal misalignments through specific adjustments and exercises to improve posture and overall musculoskeletal function.
  • Thompson Terminal Point Technique: This technique involves the use of a specialized chiropractic table with drop mechanisms to apply precise adjustments to the spine and improve alignment.
  • Gonstead Technique: The Gonstead Technique emphasizes a detailed analysis of the spine, using X-rays and palpation, to deliver targeted spinal adjustments aimed at correcting specific subluxations and promoting optimal nerve function.
  • Diversified Technique: Diversified chiropractic adjustments involve manual, hands-on thrusts to correct misalignments in the spine and restore normal joint motion.
  • Pettibon Technique: The Pettibon Technique combines spinal adjustments with rehabilitative exercises and equipment to address postural issues and improve spinal health.
  • Webster Technique: Primarily used during pregnancy, the Webster Technique is designed to reduce pelvic joint dysfunction and tension in the surrounding muscles to potentially ease discomfort and improve fetal positioning.
