Corrective Chiropractic, formerly called Cohen Chiropractic Centre, was started in 2009 in the Buckhead/Midtown area because chiropractor in Atlanta, Dr. Austin Cohen fell in love with the charm and the healthy feel of the community. “I sat in front of my shopping center and counted lots of runners going by, families walking their kids, and people who were living life proactively.” I knew this was the place to build my chiropractic practice.

I started Corrective Chiropractic in 2009 with this purpose and passion and we’ve since grown to be a top chiropractic office in Atlanta. We’ve also expanded our locations to offer the Sandy Springs and Decatur communities the same level of care.

Where to start in sharing my amazing experience with Corrective Chiropractic is a natural, the beginning which in reality is just a little of a week ago. My original intent was to go in support of my daughter who had received advice that her medical condition could/would be enhanced by going to a chiropractor. I can truly say that it has turned out to be an experience that I truly say has and is making a difference in my overall well-being. Initially, I was concerned that I had possibly made a mistake and inquired of my daughter when I could start to feel positive results and she indicated I should give it a week and true to the time in one week I felt wonderful and could not believe it.
As a 74 year old I was feeling more like my days of my 30's. I have found the staff to be amazing, caring and professional. They have and continue to take the time to provide the answers and make the necessary adjustments needed; more specifically I could not make an appointment and did not ask for rescheduling and with hours I received notification of the opportunity to come in on the same day, I was not able to comply and immediately another more acceptable option was provided.
I have wished for people in my life who could have benefited from the services had known and their lives would not be as physically challenged as they are now. For other people who can benefit I am sharing my experience and encouraging them to consider the services.
This has been a truly life changing experience for me, and will continue as long as I receive recommendations that I should. I give thanks and sincere gratitude to the staff of Decatur Corrective Chiropractic for the difference they have made in my life and more importantly the respect and concern they have shown me.
As usual, Corrective Chiropractic welcomed me with enthusiasm and provided solid, dependable care for my sore back. Everyone in the office went out of their way to greet me. Also, I needed a last minute appointment today and they totally accommodated me. They always run on schedule and the office is clean and attractive, too. This time I needed to stock up on Vitamin D and Jessica, the nutritionist on staff had just what I needed.
I can't say enough good things about this practice, especially living a very active life, they understand people with a passion for fitness don't want to be side-lined with back or neck pain and they do what it takes to get you back out there doing what you love.
Dr. Cohen, Dr. Samaira and the entire staff at CC are just wonderful. From my initial evaluation through my first week of sessions I have felt that the staff is really engaged in my well being. I found the technology used in my evaluation to be especially helpful in understanding what injuries from decades ago and, to be candid, laziness have wrought on my body. Coming from a family with severe back problems, I find the adjustments and awareness I am gaining will be important as I seek to avoid the legacy built into my genes. I will be integrating massage next week and I will share my experience in a future post.
