Originally from Romania, Dr. Carmen Gogu received a scholarship and was accepted to Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where she was a college athlete and completed her undergraduate studies in biology and chemistry with a pre-med focus.
While in school Dr. Carmen suffered from a motorcycle accident that severely affected her quality of life. Dr. Carmen sought many avenues of treatment for this accident in combination with a myriad of sports related injuries, traumatic brain-injury and multiple concussions eventually saw Dr. Gogu wind up in a multitude of different doctors’ offices, on multiple medications, shots and procedures without a resolution. It wasn’t until she started seeing a chiropractor that her conditions started improving.
This initiated an interest which would later develop into a deep passion to study the true meaning of health and a paradigm that acknowledges the body’s ability to heal and thrive with a focus on preventative and proactive health.
Dr. Carmen went on to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic graduating with honors Summa Cum Laude from Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia. She has also received a Masters in Pediatrics from MLI University in New York and she is currently writing her thesis for her Diplomate in Pediatrics.

In her free time Dr. Gogu enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog Odin, riding motorcycles, dancing, and competing in powerlifting meets.

Introducing Taylor, our dedicated Office Manager hailing from Clover, South Carolina.
Outside of her responsibilities at Corrective Chiropractic, Taylor’s passion extends to her love for animals, thriving plants, and an active lifestyle. Whether she’s tending to her six dogs, two goats, tortoise, or nurturing her greenhouse of plants, Taylor’s goal is to create her own “tropical farm” oasis. When not immersed in her green pursuits, she can be found hitting the gym or engaging in various outdoor activities.
In addition to her bustling personal life, Taylor is actively pursuing her Chiropractic Assistant Certification, showcasing her commitment to professional growth.
